  3. She under rotated that loop. :(

SHe always barely under rotates the 2axel/3toe so had to ditch that

    She flutzes

    But I still adore her.

  4. I agree also! She’s so undermarked on the POCS–she has such a wonderful personality. Footwork is great! Her FS was amazing also! Best of luck at Olympics!

  5. I agree, she should get as much PCS as Joannie Rochette or Miki Ando

  6. The low degree of her PCS cannot believe in me.

Her performance doesn’t take a plain rest such as Yu-na kim and Miki ando.

Her performance doesn’t slow down the speed instead of not taking a rest like Mao asada.

She is a player of “Do not take a rest at all”, “The speed is always fast”, and only “It has power of expression”.

She should be able to raise PCS more than anyone.
At what is the judge looking?

  7. Fascinating! I love her choice of music. It so fits her, and she just flows with it. Hope to see her in the Oly.

  12. I still think Yukari has a good chance, too. But I really would like Akiko to go. The Japanese Skating Union should understand that Akiko is THE most solid well balanced skater they have right now. She’s also one of the most mentally strongest skaters in the world. She’s not pressure-free just because she knows she can’t win. She’s the way she is because winning isn’t the most important thing to her. Not many skaters can be like that. She should be treasured more. She’s such a special girl.

  13. Definitely, too low!!!!!
I wont complain about tech skills, but PCS…basically, they’re only subjective views so they’re totally unreliable. What bothers me is that such unreliable scores are keeping Akiko from reaching the top! This competition proved that PCS are given mainly by mere reputation. The PCS for Akiko both in short and free were absolutely ridiculous! She deserved much more!

  15. Japans like US- its really hard to make the top three and into worlds and olympics. Mao and Miki are obviously gonna make the team so its akiko vs fumie for last spot… boy i wish both could go.
